  Trail has seen better days but is still fun but not recommended for rookies or elderly. There are some pretty steep inclines via rock ledges and the map entering the area is wrong to start with (how the heck does THAT happen?). Still the views are gorgeous and its interesting to see the rock formations on the sides. We couldn't find the short 2.5km trail that was supposedly shown on the map so I have to assume the full trail was at the time the only trail left. Still worth the detour but BE CAREFUL - there are open vertical drops just within the trail SO LOOK OUT. Someone has put up some bright orange netting but it was precariously hung over a branch so it might not still be there.

  The entrance has been relocated 1.5 km West on hwy 540 from the previous entrance. It is open, and the beginning of the trail is all new territory to cover. It starts off as a bush trail, then you walk through some beautiful maple woods that leads you to the bluffs. From there, there is a ladder that you have to climb. You will also come across some steep inclines, but they have ropes set up to help you along the way. You'll have the option to take a couple different routes, but the all lead to the top, and it is worth it!

  Great hike. A little rough in some spots since they had to shut down part of the trail and divert it further south, so expect some deep woods hiking and bring good shoes. Once you get to the top East lookout, you'll realize it was all worth it.
